Getting Started
We offer two easy options!
Option 1:
Take advantage of our free mail-in program and we’ll mail you your check just 24 hours after receiving and evaluating your unwanted precious metals. It’s as easy as 1–2–3.
1) Simply click here to fill out our Valued Customer Form. Request a mail-in package in the comment box, and we will mail you a secure, postage paid envelope along with your customer form and tracking number.
2) Next fill out the form, that you will receive in the pre-paid envelope you have requested. Place the form with your items within the enclosed envelope, seal the envelope and mail. Postage is pre-paid.
3) We will issue you a check within 24 hours of receiving your items. Keep in mind that we rely on the U.S. Postal Service for receipt of your items. Delivery can take some time depending on your proximity to Precious Metal Refining Services. Although we are committed to processing and paying for your items within 24 hours after receiving your valuables, please allow up to
10 business days for your valuables to reach our facility.

What We Buy
Precious Metal Refining Services pays you the highest prices for your jewelry, gold, silver and precious metals. Just a sample of items that may be of value include: jewelry, necklaces, mountings, gold, silver, platinum, palladium, chains, charms, bracelets, earrings, cufflinks, rings, and dental gold. Anything made of precious metal has value regardless of its condition. There is no need to repair or clean your jewelry.
The value of your gold increases with the purity and weight of your items. Gold is typically identified by karat markings on your jewelry. Examples include: 8kt, 9kt, 10kt, 14kt, 18kt, 22kt, and 24kt. The higher the number the greater the value of your gold. Karat content is a percentage of 24kt gold. 10kt is 41.6% gold, and 18kt is 75% gold, etc.
Silver is marked STERLING, .925 or Silver.
Platinum is marked .950 or PLAT.

Costume Jewelry
Costume Jewelry is typically coated in gold and does not have enough precious metal content for refining. Typically, items marked 1/10 GF indicate Costume Jewelry.
Gemstones
Gemstones are typically mounted on precious metals that have value to Precious Metal Refining Services. However, the gemstone is not considered in determining the value of your jewelry.
Silver Plated
Silver Plated items are coated with silver and does not have enough precious metal content for refining. While Sterling Silver is high enough in purity to send us for refining.
